Sources of Indian Constitution

  • Constitution makers compile the subject matter for constitution formulation from many places. The constitution is not the written document formed by the Constituent Assembly. The ideologies, beliefs and philosophy of the Constitution get inspiration from somewhere.
  • At the time of framing the Constitution, the Constituent Assembly had studied the constitutions of about 60 countries and accepted their good things, which were compatible with Indian conditions.
